MUPY Alumna Selected for Prestigious IJRA Scheme at University of Sussex

The Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY) extends its warmest congratulations to Ms. Wachirapond Thongsuwan, a distinguished alumna, on being selected to participate in the prestigious International Junior Research Associate (IJRA) Scheme at the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. She will be participating in the programme from June 29th to August 21st, 2026.  The IJRA is a pioneering initiative designed to develop future research leaders by supporting talented and ambitious individuals to undertake supervised research at Sussex during the summer. Over an intensive eight-week period, participants will have the unique opportunity to engage with distinguished researchers, develop invaluable academic skills, and build international networks. The programme will culminate in a University showcase reception where participants present their research to supervisors and senior academics.  As part of this highly selective scheme, the University of Sussex will fully support the selected participant by waiving all programme and university accommodation fees, as well as providing a comprehensive package of free campus social events and professional training workshops.  Ms. Wachirapond’s achievement brings great pride and recognition to the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, reflecting the exceptional caliber and global competitiveness of our alumni. The Faculty wishes her the very best in this academic endeavor and future research contributions.
