MUPY Welcomed Delegate from Universitas Brawijaya to Foster Global Academic Partnerships

On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, welcomed the delegates from Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia, including Dr. Happy Kurnia Permatasari, Head of the International Relationship Office, and Dr. Aulia Rahmi Pawestri, during the official visit to the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Phayathai Campus, Bangkok.
Representing the Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong warmly received the distinguished guest and led discussions focused on strengthening institutional partnerships and exploring opportunities for future collaboration in education, postgraduate studies, and other international academic initiatives. The meeting also served as a valuable platform for exchanging institutional experiences, sharing best practices in internationalization, and identifying areas of mutual interest that could lead to sustainable collaboration between the two institutions.
The official visit reaffirmed the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University's commitment to advancing internationalization and fostering meaningful global partnerships with leading higher education institutions worldwide. By promoting academic exchange and exploring collaborative opportunities in education and research, the visit supported the Faculty's mission to produce research and innovation that meets national and international standards while strengthening its global engagement. Furthermore, the activity contributed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through the promotion of international academic cooperation and knowledge exchange, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by reinforcing strategic partnerships that support sustainable development and academic excellence.
