MUPY Signs MOU with WE-WIN BIO-MEDICAL, Taiwan, to Advance International Collaboration in Botanical Pharmaceutical Innovation

On Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 09.30 a.m., to 10.20 a.m, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mullika Chomnawang, Deputy Dean for Innovation Management and Business Relations, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Pagakrong Wanapaisan, Assistant Dean for Innovation Management and Business Relations, participated in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, and WE-WIN BIO-MEDICAL CO., LTD., Taiwan (Republic of China), held during Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN Bangkok 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
On this occasion, MUPY executives welcomed the executive delegation from WE-WIN BIO-MEDICAL CO., LTD., led by Mr. James Hsieh, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Jerry Yang, Director of International Business Department. Assoc. Prof. Dr.Krissada Asavaskulkiet Deputy Director for Academic Service and Industry Partnership, Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT), Mahidol University, also joined the ceremony as an honored guest.
This MOU aims to promote collaboration in joint research, academic and professional exchange, capacity building through training programs, and knowledge exchange in natural products and pharmaceutical innovation. It also seeks to strengthen linkages between academia and industry, supporting research and innovation development, while providing opportunities for faculty members, researchers, students, and personnel from Thailand and Taiwan to collaborate and exchange knowledge in addressing global health and pharmaceutical development challenges.
This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to advancing academic excellence and enhancing cooperation in pharmaceutical sciences and botanical innovation at the international level in a sustainable manner. It is also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 9, and SDG 17, focusing on good health and well-being, quality education, industry innovation and infrastructure, and partnerships for the goals.
