MUPY Hosts Orientation for Exchange Student from Shinshu University, Japan (2026)

On June 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), through its International Relations and Corporate Communications Unit, organized an orientation session for Mr. Shunsuke Suzumori, an exchange student from the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Shinshu University, Japan. The event was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Leanpolchareanchai at the Department of Pharmacy.
Mr. Shunsuke Suzumori is undertaking a student exchange and research training program under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Leanpolchareanchai from June 15 to September 12, 2026. His training program will be conducted at the Division of Pharmaceutical Technology, Department of Pharmacy, as well as at the laboratory of the Department of Medical Entomology, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
This exchange program aims to enhance the academic and professional competencies of international students through hands-on training and research experience in a real-world professional environment. It also provides valuable opportunities for students, faculty members, and healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge, expertise, and cultural perspectives within an international setting. Furthermore, the program contributes to strengthening academic and research collaborations between institutions while reinforcing MUPY's international visibility and global engagement.
The program also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting inclusive and high-quality learning opportunities; SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by fostering international educational exchange and cross-cultural understanding; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through the development of sustainable academic partnerships and international collaboration.
