MUPY welcomes MUIC for Pharmacology Study Visit

On Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, together with Dr. Sumet Chongruchiroj, Head of Center of Analysis for Product Quality (Microbiology), and Assist. Prof. Dr. Jaturong Pratuangdejku, welcomed faculty members and students from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) on the occasion of their study visit in pharmacology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University.

During the visit, the participants explored the MUPY’s research units and research infrastructure, including the Center of Molecular Targeting and Integrated Drug Development (CMT-IDD), the Pharmacometrics Center, and the Industry-standard, In Silico and Molecular Modeling Platform. They also received information regarding the faculty’s research and innovation activities, which play a significant role in advancing health sciences and related industries.

This study visit reflects the mission of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, to serve as a center for academic services in pharmaceuticals, herbal products, cosmetics, and food, contributing to the sustainable development of the country. Moreover, the activity aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting learning opportunities and providing students with access to research knowledge and experiences, as well as SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, which emphasizes the advancement of research, innovation, and scientific infrastructure for sustainable development in the future.
