MUPY Signs MoU with College of Pharmacy, Kaohsiung Medical University to Strengthen Academic and Research Collaboration

On Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM (Kaohsiung Time), the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, and the executive team, visited the College of Pharmacy, Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU), Kaohsiung City, Republic of China (Taiwan).

On this occasion, the MUPY delegation was welcomed by Professor Shyh-Chyun Yang, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Asst. Prof. Yung-Yi Cheng, Section Director of International Affairs, along with members of KMU. The primary purpose of the visit was to attend the signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, and the College of Pharmacy, Kaohsiung Medical University.

Following the ceremony, representatives from both institutions engaged in productive discussions on future academic collaboration, research cooperation, and student and staff exchanges. The delegation also had an opportunity to visit KMU’s key research centers and laboratory facilities to learn more about its educational and research capabilities.

This MoU signing marks another significant milestone in MUPY’s continued efforts to strengthen international partnerships and advance academic and research collaboration with leading institutions worldwide. Furthermore, the initiative reflects MUPY’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through advancing pharmaceutical education and healthcare research, and SDG 4 (Quality Education) through international academic collaboration and exchange.
