MUPY Visits College of Pharmacy, Taipei Medical University, to Strengthen Global Partnerships

On Monday, May 4, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Taipei Time), the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, together with the executive team—Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Brompoj Prutthiwanasan, Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies and Information Technology; Asst. Prof. Jennis Meanwatthana, Deputy Dean for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program); and Dr. Pongpol Thanuphol, Assistant Dean for Corporate Communication—as well as Dr. Amporn Songkasiri, Head of the Division of International and Public Relations, visited the College of Pharmacy, Taipei Medical University (TMU), Republic of China (Taiwan).
On this occasion, the MUPY delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Wei-Chiao Chang, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, TMU, along with the Vice Deans—Prof. Shawn Hsiang-Yin Chen, Prof. Yu-Wen Cheng, and Prof. Wei-Jan Huang. Both parties engaged in productive discussions on prospective academic collaborations and exchange opportunities between the two institutions. During the visit, the delegation also toured key facilities, including the Pharmacy and Nutrition Building, Taipei Medical University Hospital, and the Medical Simulation Center.
This visit reinforces the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships, advancing research collaboration, and expanding academic exchange, thereby enhancing its global presence and contribution to pharmacy education and healthcare. It also aligns with the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education), by promoting international collaboration, advancing pharmaceutical research, and enhancing global academic exchange.
