On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, the executives and faculty of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), welcomed Prof. Dr. Philippe Manivet, a senior scientist from the University of Paris Cit? (The Institut Robert-Debre du Cerveau de l’Enfant), France. The MUPY delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Nuchtavorn, Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation. The purpose of the visit was to explore potential academic and research collaborations between the two institutions. He also had an opportunity to meet faculty members for more discussion including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pramote Tragulpiankit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Leanpolchareanchai, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaturong Pratuangdejkul, and Dr. Sumet Chongruchiroj at the Pharmacometrics Center.
During his visit, Prof. Dr. Manivet will also deliver a special lecture titled “Perspectives and Expectations in French Research Collaboration” as part of MUPY’s Knowledge Management event scheduled for Friday, December 12, 2025. This collaborative activity strongly supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4: Quality Education by fostering an international learning environment and exchanging research knowledge, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening academic cooperation and contributing to robust collaborative networks.
