On Monday, December 1, 2025, the Executives of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Satsawat Visansirikul, Assistant Dean for General Administration, warmly welcomed Professor Carmen Galan and her delegation from the School of Chemistry, University of Bristol, United Kingdom. The visit aimed to further strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in student exchange initiatives and collaborative research in carbohydrate chemistry. During the visit, Professor Galan also had the opportunity to visit the research laboratories of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Furthermore, this activity aligns with the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University’s missions to promote international collaboration in research and innovation, enhance the quality of education to meet international standards, and serve as a hub for academic and professional services in pharmacy and health sciences. Moreover, it contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, reflecting MUPY’s commitment to advancing global cooperation for sustainable academic and scientific development.
