On Tuesday, 25 November 2025, from 09.30 AM to 10.30 AM, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, through the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and its International Relations Unit, organized a special lecture titled “Analytical and Bioanalytical Strategies for Clinical Research at Charles University.” The session featured distinguished speakers from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University, Czech Republic, namely Prof. Dr. Petr Solich and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lenka Kujovska Krcmova, who were invited to visit MUPY through the collaboration of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Nuchtavorn and Dr. Chaweewan Suwanvecho. Held in Room 405, Rajaratana Building, and broadcast via Cisco Webex, the event included a welcome address by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, together with faculty members of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
The lecture presented key analytical and bioanalytical concepts and strategies relevant to clinical research, with emphasis on the application of these approaches to support effective knowledge generation. These components form core elements in the advancement of health sciences, including the evaluation of biological markers, the analysis of research samples, and the utilization of analytical data to improve the quality and reliability of clinical study outcomes. Furthermore, the activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely Goal 4: Quality Education, through promoting lifelong learning and access to global knowledge; Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, by fostering equitable academic opportunities; and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening academic collaboration with international institutions to enhance the professional competencies of faculty members and students.
