MUPY Strengthens Ties with Indonesian universities through Virtual Meeting

On Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the International Relations Office, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, organized a Zoom meeting with the delegation from three Indonesian universities including 1)  Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Wahid Hasyim; 2) Universitas Mandala Waluyo; and 3) STIKES Maluku Husada. The session was honored by the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, who met with the representatives from three institutes. The meeting aimed to foster mutual understanding and explore potential areas for academic collaboration between the these institutions. The discussion focused on exploring possible initiatives and negotiating the preparation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize future cooperation.

The initiative reflects the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to enhancing international academic collaboration and aligns with its mission to produce graduates and research of global standards and to serve as a hub for academic and professional exchange. Furthermore, this activity supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by promoting cross-border academic development, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering international cooperation toward sustainable academic progress.
