On Friday, October 10, 2025, from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the International Relations Office, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, organized a Zoom meeting with the delegation from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Alma Ata University, Indonesia. The session was honored by the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, who met with Dr. Tridjoko Hadianto, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Alma Ata University, along with Ms. Eliza Dwinta.
The meeting aimed to foster mutual understanding and explore potential areas for academic collaboration between the two institutions. The discussion focused on exploring possible initiatives and negotiating the preparation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize future cooperation. Moreover, this meeting served as an important platform to discuss joint academic endeavors, research exchanges, and collaborative programs that will benefit both institutions. The dialogue emphasized shared goals in advancing health sciences education and strengthening regional partnerships in Southeast Asia.
The initiative reflects the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to enhancing international academic collaboration and aligns with its mission to produce graduates and research of global standards and to serve as a hub for academic and professional exchange. Furthermore, this activity supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by promoting cross-border academic development, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering international cooperation toward sustainable academic progress.
