Mahidol International Pharmacy School Hosts UIC's Guest Speaker for Career Pathway Discussion

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 09:00 AM, the International Pharmacy School, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MIPY), welcomed Dr. Nina S. Huynh (Assistant Director, PGY1 International Pharmacy Residency Program) from the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Retzky College of Pharmacy, University of Illinois Chicago, at the Smart Classroom, 4th Floor, Debaratana Building. The welcoming session was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Busba Chindavijak, Senior Advisor of the Doctor of Pharmacy (International Program), Asst. Prof. Sayamon Sukkha, Assistant Dean for Professional Affairs, and Dr. Suwida Tangtrakultham.

During the visit, Dr. Nina S. Huynh shared her experience and perspective on career pathways for students of the International Pharmacy School, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MIPY). After the lecture, she visited MUPY’s advanced educational and research facilities—including laboratories, research centers, and the Central Research Facility Unit. She also participated in a site visit at the Department of Pharmacy, Siriraj Hospital, one of the professional training sites for students in the Doctor of Pharmacy (International Program) curriculum.

Furthermore, this visit aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, which seeks to reduce inequalities within and among countries.
