On September 30, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Somnuk Bunsupa, Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation, visited the Institut de Biologie Mol?culaire des Plantes (IBMP) at the Universit? de Strasbourg in Strasbourg, French Republic. The visit was graciously hosted and extended a warm welcome by Prof. Dr. Hubert SCHALLER (Research Director of Biology of Plant Isoprenoids). It was also conducted under the Franco-Thai Mobility Program / PHC SIAM 2025-2026 Research Grant, spanning September 25, 2025, to October 2, 2025.
During the visit, Asst. Prof. Dr. Somnuk Bunsupa was also invited to serve as a guest speaker and delivered a lecture on the topic: "Unraveling the Biosynthetic Pathway of Bryonolic Acid in Trichosanthes cucumerina: Insights into OSCs, CYP450s, and Biotechnological Production”. Besides, the primary objectives of this visit were to discuss the progress of ongoing collaborative research projects and to explore the potential for future academic and research cooperation on various issues between the two institutions. Besides, the academicvisit and ongoing research collaboration directly supported the achievement of two United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
