MUPY enhanced global partnerships with Courtesy Visit to the School of Pharmacy, Showa Medical University

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM (local time in Japan), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, conducted a significant courtesy visit to the School of Pharmacy, Showa Medical University (SMU) in Tokyo, Japan. The Deputy Dean was warmly received by Professor Dr. Shuntaro Hara, Dean of the SMU School of Pharmacy, along with esteemed faculty members. This high-level visit underscored the faculty’s commitment to strengthening and fostering its international engagement.

The core agenda of the visit centered on an insightful discussion regarding potential academic and research collaborations between the two distinguished institutions. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Youngkong presented comprehensive information about Mahidol University Faculty of Pharmacy (MUPY), highlighting its academic excellence, research strengths, and global initiatives.
