MUPY took part in strategic planning for 1st US-ASEAN Pharmacy Consortium Conference 2026

On August 25, 2025, from 09:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Bangkok time), administrative members of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean of MUPY, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, participated in the online US-ASEAN Pharmacy Consortium Board Meeting via Zoom.

The meeting brought together approximately 20 administrators from pharmacy schools within the US-ASEAN Pharmacy Consortium. The primary agenda focused on planning the 1st US-ASEAN Pharmacy Consortium Conference, scheduled to take place on June 3–5, 2026, at the University of Iowa’s College of Pharmacy in the United States. The discussion also included future collaborative goals of the Consortium. This meeting reflected a significant step toward strengthening international academic partnerships and fostering collaboration in pharmaceutical education. It contributes directly to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
