On August 14, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Anchalee Jintapattanakit, Deputy Dean for Finance, representing the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, participated in a meeting and study visit of the Council of Pharmacy Deans of Thailand. The event was hosted at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), in Malaysia. The meeting and study visit served as a significant opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences to modernize the pharmacy curriculum. Discussions also focused on developing academic collaborations between Thai and Malaysian pharmacy institutions, particularly concerning student internships and joint research initiatives. The primary objective of these efforts is to elevate educational standards and enhance professional capacity in pharmacy at an international level.
This collaborative engagement is expected to result in strengthened international partnerships and the overall improvement of pharmacy education standards. The initiatives undertaken directly support Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities. Additionally, they contribute to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering effective partnerships and international cooperation to achieve sustainable development.
