MIPY organized the orientation for First-Year students of the Doctor of Pharmacy (International Program) for the Academic Year 2025

On Friday, 8 August 2025, at 08:30 a.m., the International Pharmacy School of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, in collaboration with Mahidol University International College (MUIC), jointly organized the Orientation for First-Year Students of the Doctor of Pharmacy (International Program) for the Academic Year 2025. The event was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Surakit Nathisuwan, Pharm.D., Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, who presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech to all 21 international program students. Also in attendance were Assistant Professor Jennis Meanwatthana, Deputy Dean for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program), and Assistant Professor Dr. Chompunuch Pongjit, MUIC Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, who extended a warm welcome to the students on this special occasion.

The program featured an informative session on “Welcome to Doctor of Pharmacy (International Program)” delivered by Associate Professor Surakit Nathisuwan, and “Getting to Know MUIC” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Chayanan Hongfa. Each session concluded with a Q&A segment, allowing students to engage and clarify their questions. Following the lectures, the students toured Mahidol University International College (MUIC), where they will undertake their first-year studies before transferring to the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Phayathai Campus in the following year. In addition, the students participated in “Mahidol Library: The Road Show 2025”, organized by Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, to introduce library services and various academic resources. This orientation activity aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
