MUPY hosted collaborative meeting with VNU-UMP delegation

On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), through its International Relations Unit, hosted a formal collaborative meeting to welcome distinguished guests from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, (VNU-UMP). The visiting delegation comprised Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Dean of VNU-UMP's Faculty of Pharmacy, and Mr. Son Nhat Bui, Researcher and International Coordinator. The meeting took place in Room 309 of the Rajaratana Building and was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimpikar Kanchanadumkerng, Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies, who both delivered opening remarks.

This official visit served as a platform to strengthen institutional ties, promote academic dialogue, and identify areas of mutual interest for collaboration. Discussions focused on opportunities to expand academic and research partnerships, as well as professional training and development initiatives. The delegation also toured MUPY’s learning and research facilities on campus, gaining valuable insights into its academic environment and resources. This engagement is expected to lay a strong foundation for future collaborative initiatives, including joint academic programs, research projects, professional development activities, and international conferences, underscoring both institutions’ shared commitment to advancing global pharmacy education and research.

This event aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). By strengthening academic ties and fostering inclusive international collaboration, the Faculty of Pharmacy demonstrates its commitment to advancing educational excellence and global partnerships for sustainable development.
