On Monday, July 14, 2025, from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chutima Phechkrajang and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Leanpolchareanchai extended a warm welcome to the honored guest, Dr. Jordi Cruz Sanchez, a visiting scholar from the School of Engineering, Escola Universitaria Salesiana de Sarria, Spain.

Held in Room 309, Rajaratana Building, the meeting served as a platform to foster global partnerships, explore mutual interests, and engage in academic discussions on potential collaborations. Conversations focused on opportunities for academic cooperation, student exchange, and plans for future joint initiatives. The primary objective of Dr. Jordi Cruz Sanchez’s visit is to promote international academic collaboration through meaningful dialogue and discussion. In addition to this meeting, Dr. Cruz Sanchez is scheduled to deliver two academic lectures for faculty members, researchers, and graduate students on July 15, 2025. These activities are expected to strengthen institutional ties and lay the groundwork for collaborative research and academic exchange between the two institutions.

This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). By facilitating international academic partnerships, the meeting contributes to expanding access to quality education, promoting inclusive collaboration, and reinforcing global networks for sustainable development.
