The meeting took place at Room 606, Rajaratana Building.

The UIC delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Ferlien Mae Baula Brieta and Prof. Joan Santillana-Nacua, and included 10 doctoral students who visited MUPY as part of their international academic exposure and institutional partnership development. The agenda focused on exploring opportunities for academic collaboration, particularly in the areas of postgraduate education, student and staff exchange, and joint research initiatives.

MUPY’s postgraduate students also participated in the meeting, which was designed to promote academic dialogue and research-oriented engagement. Both sides engaged in lively discussions and shared insights into their respective research projects and academic programs. This exchange of ideas not only enriched the participants’ understanding of different research methodologies and contexts, but also served as a platform for building new academic connections and fostering cross-cultural understanding. This academic dialogue reflects MUPY’s ongoing commitment to internationalization and the enhancement of its postgraduate programs through global engagement and knowledge sharing.

Furthermore, this activity responded to the SDG’s Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
