Zoom Meeting with SMBT College of Pharmacy, India

On Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. (Bangkok time), the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, participated in a Zoom meeting with faculty representatives from the SMBT College of Pharmacy, India. The Indian delegation was virtually led by Dr. Yogesh V. Ushir, Principal of SMBT College of Pharmacy, and Mr. Kundan Tiwari. This preliminary meeting served as a valuable platform to initiate academic dialogue and explore opportunities for collaboration between the two institutions. Discussions centered on the objectives of the upcoming visit by faculty members and students from SMBT College of Pharmacy to MUPY, which include academic exchange, facility tours, and research presentations. Additionally, both parties discussed potential areas of mutual academic and research interest, particularly in the realms of student mobility, joint academic activities, and future collaborative initiatives. Furthermore, this meeting responded to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and Goal 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
