On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 09.00 A.M., nine faculty members from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), consisted of 1) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pongtip Sithisarn, 2) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyanuch Rojsanga, 3) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montree Jaturanpinyo, 4) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pakatip Ruenraroengsak, 5) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khanit Sa-ngiamsuntorn, 6) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Veena Satitpatipan, 7) Asst. Prof. Dr. Somnuk Bunsupa, 8) Asst. Prof. Dr. Orasa Suriyaphan, and 9) Dr. Chutima Petchprayoon, attended the award ceremony hosted by Mahidol Univeristy, and received congratulatory flower bouquets from Professor Piyamitr Srithara, President of Mahidol University.
Having been held at Natee Rakpolmuang Conference Room, Office of the President, Mahidol University, the ceremony was conducted to celebrate the achievements of Mahidol University personnel who received awards at “The 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva” in Geneva, Switzerland.
Additionally, the two awarded innovative projects presented at “The 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva” included:
1) The project titled “Phakpaem Adaptogenic Tablets” received a Bronze Medal.
The inventors of this project included: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pongtip Sithisarn, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyanuch Rojsanga, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montree Jaturanpinyo, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pakatip Ruenraroengsak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khanit Sa-ngiamsuntorn, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Veena Satitpatipan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Somnuk Bunsupa, and Dr. Chutima Petchprayoon.
2) The project titled “Phakpaem Drink with Crystal Bubbles” received a Silver Medal and a Special Prize (Distinguished Innovation Award) from Umm Al-Qura University, Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The inventors of this project included: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pongtip Sithisarn, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyanuch Rojsanga, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pakatip Ruenraroengsak, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Orasa Suriyaphan.
Furthermore, this ceremony responded to the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) especially Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and Goal 9: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
