MUPY welcomed delegates from the School of Science, Kathmandu University, Nepal, to strengthen academic and research collaborations

On Friday, April 11, 2025, from 10.00 A.M. to 11.00 A.M., executives of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, along with Asst. Prof. Pitchaya Dilokpattanamongkol, Deputy Head of Department of Pharmacy, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pramote Tragulpiankit, Lecturer in Department of Pharmacy, provided a warm welcome to Asst. Prof. Sweta Shrestha from the Department of Pharmacy, School of Science, Kathmandu University, Nepal. The meeting, held in Meeting Room R309, focused on exploring potential academic and research collaborations—particularly in student and staff exchange programs—and gaining insights into ongoing research activities and clinical pharmacy practices. Following the fruitful discussion, Asst. Prof. Shrestha was given a tour of MUPY’s learning and research facilities.

This visit marked a meaningful step toward strengthening academic ties and promoting international collaboration in pharmaceutical education and practice. Moreover, it aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all; Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries; and Goal 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
