On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, representatives from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Krisada Sakchaisri, visited the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Health Sciences (UHS) in Lao P.D.R. MUPY delegation received a warm welcome from Dr. Sounantha Souvanlasy, the Dean of UHS Faculty of Pharmacy, along with her administrative team. The visit aimed to strengthen the existing partnership between the two institutions and explore further academic and research collaborations. Discussions focused on exchanging ideas for academic training, research collaboration, and potential joint academic initiatives that could benefit both faculties.
This engagement marks a significant step in fostering closer ties and mutual growth, reinforcing MUPY's commitment to international collaboration in pharmaceutical education and research. Furthermore, this official visit supported the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4th: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
