Online Meeting with the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM (local time in Bangkok), executives of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, held a productive online meeting with delegates from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS), United States. The ACPHS delegation was led by Prof. Toyin Tofade, President of the institution.

Conducted via Zoom platform, the discussion explored key areas for potential collaboration between the two institutions. The dialogue centered on faculty and student exchanges, joint research initiatives, institutional visits, and the co-organization of an international conference in the near future. Both parties also expressed enthusiasm for strengthening their academic partnership, recognizing the mutual benefits of fostering global connections in pharmaceutical education and research. This engagement also marked a significant step toward expanding academic and research collaborations between MUPY and ACPHS, reinforcing their shared commitment to advancing pharmaceutical sciences on a global scale. Furthermore, this online meeting responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
