MUPY welcomed Shanghai Pharma (Thailand) to strengthen academic and research  collaboration

On Friday, February 21, 2025, from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the executive members of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), warmly welcomed the delegation from Shanghai Pharma (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (SPH) at Meeting Room V501, Pradit Hutangura Research Building. MUPY executives included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mullika Chomnawang, Deputy Dean for Innovation Management and Business Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Nuchtavorn, Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Somnuk Bunsupa, Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pagakrong Wanapaisan, Assistant Dean for Innovation Management and Business Relations and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pramote Tragulpiankit.

The SPH delegation, led by Mr. Wang Yafeng (General Manager), comprised 20 executives who visited MUPY to discuss and negotiate potential academic and research collaborations, as well as technology exchange between the two institutions. The discussion also covered key pharmaceutical topics, including Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Regulatory Principles. Following the meeting, the SPH executives had the opportunity to visit MUPY’s academic service units, including the Cosmetic and Dermatological Product Testing Center, the Product Quality Analysis Center, and various scientific laboratories. This visit marked a significant step in fostering collaboration between academia and industry to enhance pharmaceutical knowledge and healthcare development on an international scale.
