MUHTA faculty members participated in webinar entitled A Renewed HTA Competency Framework: Reflections from HTA MSc Programs around the Globe

On December 10, 2024, from 08:00 P.M. to 09:00 P.M. (Bangkok local time), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, Program Director of the Health Technology Assessment (MUHTA) Program at Mahidol University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, were invited to participate as panelists in a webinar titled “A Renewed HTA Competency Framework: Reflections from HTA MSc Programs around the Globe”. The event was virtually hosted via the Zoom platform by Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi). 

During the webinar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew shared insights from the HTA MSc program at Mahidol University, Thailand, alongside leaders from other renowned HTA programs, including the University of Glasgow (UK) and Buenos Aires University (Argentina).

Moreover, this event supported the Faculty’s Missions in terms of serving as the portal for professional services that encompasses drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics and dietary supplement to support the sustainable development of the nation, while responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and Goal 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
