On Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 9:30 A.M., the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, Dean, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, hosted a reception for Prof. Dr. Arnaud Monteil, an invited speaker from the Institute of Functional Genomics, University of Montpellier. The warm welcome was joined by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wasu Supharattanasitthi, Head of the Department of Physiology, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Yingrak Boondam Chuayboon, who coordinated his visit and lecture.
Prof. Dr. Arnaud Monteil delivered a special lecture entitled “Drug Screening Assays to Identify Ion Channel Modulators” in Room 404, Rajaratana Bldg. The event attracted faculty members, researchers, and graduate students, fostering an engaging exchange of ideas and encouraging academic dialogue and collaboration. Furthermore, this activity responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries.
