Collaborative Online Meeting with Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Nairobi, Republic of Kenya

On Friday, November 15, 2024, from 02.30 P.M. to 04.00 P.M., the executives of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY) led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Brompoj Prutthiwanasan, Acting Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies and Information Technology, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Acting Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, MUHTA Program Director, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, attended a Zoom meeting with the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Nairobi (UoN), Republic of Kenya led by Dr. E. M. Guantai, Senior Lecturer at UoN. This online meeting aimed to discuss the potential collaboration in research, graduate studies, and student exchange between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, and the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Nairobi.

Moreover, the development of the aforementioned cooperation would support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all; Goal 10, which seeks to reduce inequality within and among countries; and Goal 17, which aims to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
