MUPY visited Lao People's Democratic Republic to Follow Up on Training Program’s Result

From November 4-7, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wichit Nosoongnoen, Acting Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, visited Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR) under the follow-up campaign for the "Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health for Health Personnel from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic", hosted by the Office of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindphorn’s Projects.

On this occasion, the faculty members from various Mahidol University’s faculties, where the Training Program took place, visited and monitored the work progress of healthcare and public health personnel in the Lao PDR at four public health units in Luang Prabang Province including:
1) Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital
2) Luang Prabang Provincial Health Department
3) College of Health Science Luangprabang
4) Nambak District Hospital, Luangphabang Province

Moreover, this event supported our mission to serve as the portal for professional services that encompasses drugs, herbal medicine, cosmetics and dietary supplement to support the sustainable development of the nation, while responded to SDG Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages, Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
