Special Lecture Delivered by Invited Guests from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK

On November 4, 2024, from 01.00 P.M. - 02.00 P.M., Mahidol University Health Technology Assessment Graduate Program (MUHTA) hosted a special talk entitled “Vaccine Impact Modelling: HPV, Strep A, and Chikungunya” at Room 401 of the Research Bldg. The speakers, namely 1) Dr. Kaja Abbas, Associate Professor from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), United Kingdom, and 2) Ms. Hyolim Kang, Research Fellow from LSHTM, United Kingdom, were welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Acting Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, who also gave the opening speech for the event. 

Also joined the special lecture included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Chaikledkaew, MUHTA Program Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap, Head of the Department of Pharmacy. In addition, the special talk attracted many participants, including Associate Professor Dr. Wirichada Pan-Ngum, Faculty of Tropical Medicine’s Lecturer, Dr. Marco Liverani, Adjunct Professor of Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, and graduate students in the program, totally of 19 audience. Moreover, the special talk responded to the SDG Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries.
