Special Lecture by Professor from Philipps-University Marburg

On Friday, November 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Dr. Pongpol Thanuphol, Assistant Dean for Corporate Communication, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap, Chair of the Department of Pharmacy, warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. Cornelia M. Keck, an invited speaker from the Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology & Biopharmacy, Philipps-University Marburg. She visited the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, to deliver a special lecture entitled "The Marburg ex vivo model for testing oral, dermal and ocular bioavailability of active compounds for use in healthcare and cosmetics" held at Room 309, Rajaratana Building.

In this regard, Prof. Dr. Varaporn Junyaprasert, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Veerawat Teeranachaideekul, Head of the Dermocosmetic Testing Center, and our faculty member in the Division of Pharmaceutical Technology, attended the lecture with researchers and graduate students. In addition, this activity responded to SDG’s 4th Goal: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, 10th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and 17th Goal: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
