Exit Presentation of Exchange Students from UMY

On October 11, 2024, from 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 P.M., Mahidol University’s Faculty of Pharmacy (MUPY) by its International Relations Office held an exit presentation of eight exchange students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia, namely 1) Diva Qaisya Rakhenditya 2) Mahdiah Tsania Kholda 3) Nadia Wahyu Agustin 4) Queen Julia Chaesar 5) Vanya Almira Raissa 6) Yumna Alifah 7) Sa'diyah Indy Fatiha 8) Nur Fathini Mulia Utami. Having been held at Room 406, this event was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, the Acting Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication and Asst. Prof. Jennis Meanwatthana, Acting Deputy Dean for Doctor of Pharmacy Program (International Program), who delivered a warm farewell speech to the exchange students.

The exit presentation was delivered by the exchange students who had completed the 2024 Student Mobility Program which had provided them with experiencing in pharmacy education in Thailand. Moreover, the exchange programs aimed to provide the participating students with international exposure to learn Thailand’s public healthcare system, pharmacy system and education, and pharmacist roles as well as to foster students’ capacity, social skills, and global citizenship for their future career.

Furthermore, this activity also responded to SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
