Public Lecture by Guest Speaker from Indonesia

On September 23, 2024, at 1.30 P.M., MUPY’s International Relations Unit organized a public lecture entitled “Impact of First- and Second-hand Smoking on Cardiac Diseases in Yogyakarta, Indonesia: a Preliminary Cross-Sectional Study”. Having been arranged at Room 409, this public lecture was delivered by Dr. apt. Pramitha Esha Nirmala Dewi, the lecturer from the School of Pharmacy, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.

In this regard, Assist. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Acting Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, provided a warm welcome to Dr. apt. Pramitha Esha Nirmala Dewi. This event was also attended by Dr. Montaya Sununtiwat along with approximately 10 audience including Mahidol University’s students in Health Technology Assessment Program (HTA), and in Social, Economic and Administrative Pharmacy Program (SEAP).

In addition, this activity responded to SDG’s 4th Goal: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, 10th Goal: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and 17th Goal: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
