On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM, local time in the Republic of Kenya, the administrative members of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Brompoj Prutthiwanasan, Acting Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies and Information Technology, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap, a faculty member in the graduate program in Mahidol University Health Technology Assessment (MUHTA), participated in a booth exhibition at the EduCare International Universities Fairs held in Nairobi, Republic of Kenya.
Regarding this, the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), accompanied by Miss Morakot Janemathukorn, the Ambassador to Nairobi, acted as the Thai representative coordinating with Thai higher education institutions to participate in this exhibition. The event aimed to promote and publicize the international programs of MUPY to attendees, as well as to increase opportunities for academic collaboration with educational institutions from various countries.
Furthermore, this activity supported the sustainable development of the nation. It also responded to SDG’s Goal 4th: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
