On May 7, 2024, from 01:30 p.m. to 03:30 p.m., MUPY’s executives led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, together with Assoc. Prof. Usa Chaikedkleaw, Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations, and the Director of the Program Director of Mahidol University's Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Graduate Program, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montarat Thavorncharoensap and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong provided a warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Maarten J. IJzerman, the Dean of the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Having been held at room V401, this collaborative meeting was aimed at discussing opportunities to engage in the European Health Economics and Management Program and exploring ways to collaborate locally through our Rotterdam Global Health Initiative, resulting in establishing potential collaboration on academic, research, and student exchange between the two institutes. Furthermore, this visit responded to the SDG’s Goal 4th: Reduce inequality within and among countries, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17th: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
