On Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 08.30 a.m. – 04.30 p.m., MUPY’s Department of Pharmacology organized the “20th Advancement in Pharmacology Conference” via the Cisco Webex Events. In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, MUPY’s Dean, delivered a warm opening speech to 361 participants.
The conference consisted of several academic lectures on new pharmaceuticals and medicines by the faculty members in the Department of Pharmacology and invited speakers from Siriraj Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and Phramongkutklao Hospital.
The purposes of this conference were to provide its participants new and updated knowledge in pharmacology in order to improve the knowledge and professional skills of Thai pharmacists and healthcare personnel on new pharmaceuticals and medicines such as medicines for COVID-19, hemophilia, etc., resulting in making appropriate and rational uses of the new drugs. The conference also aimed to encourage lifelong learning and to promote the wellbeing of Thai people as well.
