Our graduate program in Social, Economic and Administrative Pharmacy (SEAP) has been a leader in the field in Thailand since its founding in 1995 (under the Pharmacy Administration). Currently, we offer 2 graduate programs:
Our programs were created to meet the continued demands of academic, private, and government organizations to build research capacity surrounding the safe, effective, and efficient medications and drug system and policy. We prepare our graduate students for leadership positions in professional pharmacy practice, industry, education, and research. Our distinguished faculties include internationally and nationally renowned researchers who are actively engaged in International and National drug and vaccine policy. Our programs also have strong research collaboration with many government organizations including Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP), National Vaccine Institute, and Health System Research Institute (HSRI). The programs offer several areas of concentration including; Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacoepidemiology, Outcomes Research, Drug System Management, Health Care Organization and Administration, Medical Anthropology, and Social and Behavioral aspect in medication use. At present, we have cooperative agreements with over 5 universities and institutions in over 5 nations. In the past 5 years, our students had an opportunity to join the course work as well as research work at several renowned institutes including University of North Carolina, and University of South Australia. As the international program, both local and international applications are welcome. |
