| บทคัดย่อ: Whitening agent เป็นสารที่ทำให้สีผิวจางลงโดยยับยั้งการสร้างเมลานินที่ใช้กันในปัจจุบันมี Arbutin, Kojic acid และ VC-PMG การวิจัยนี้เป็นการทดลองเตรียม Whitening cream โดยใช้ Whitening agent ทั้ง 3 ชนิด จากนั้นทำการทดสอบกับผิวหน้าอาสาสมัครชาวไทย จำนวน 22 คน นาน 7 สัปดาห์ โดยใช้ Mexameter MX 16®วัดปริมาณเมลานิน ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากสีผิวที่จางลงแปรผันตามปริมาณเมลานินที่ลดลง จากการศึกษาโดยประเมินสีผิวที่จางลงด้วยสายตาเมื่อใช้ Whitening cream ไม่พบการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ชัดเจน แต่เมื่อใช้ Mexameter MX 16 ป(trademark)ระเมินปริมาณเมลานินที่ลดลงพบว่า Whitening cream ทั้ง 3 ตำรับสามารถลดปริมาณเมลานินได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่น 95 เปอร์เซ็นต์เมื่อเทียบกับ cream base แต่ Whitening cream ทั้ง 3 ตำรับมีประสิทธิภาพในการลดปริมาณเมลานินไม่แตกต่างกัน |
| abstract: Whitening agents which are popularly used are Arbutin, Kojic acid, and VC-PMG. In this research; three whitening creans were prepared by using these 3 whitening agents and evaluated in 22 Thai voluntees for a period of 7 weeks. The results showed that skin depigmentation was hardly observed by naked eyes. However, the decrease of melanin can be detected by Mexameter MX 16 ® The results showed that Arbutin, Kojic acid and VC-PMG have reduced the melanin content significantly conpare to cream base (p < 0.05). |
