| บทคัดย่อ: โครงการนี้เป็นการศึกษาฤทธิ์ฆ่าเหาของเมล็ดน้อยหน่า (Annona squamosa Linn.) โดยใช้สารสกัดเมล็ดน้อยหน่าด้วย Petroleum ether นำมาพัฒนาในรูปของครีม แล้วทดสอบหาความเข้มข้นของครีมที่เหมาะสมในการออกฤทธิ์ฆ่าเหาได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ จากผลการศึกษาฤทธิ์การฆ่าเหา ของครีมสารสกัดเมล็ดน้อยหน่าบนแผ่นหนังหมู พบว่า ครีมที่มีความเข้มข้น 50%ออกฤทธิ์ฆ่าเหาได้ 100% ภายในเวลา 48 นาทีและครีมที่มีความเข้มข้น 20% ออกฤทธิ์ฆ่าเหาได้ 100% ภายในเวลา 62 นาที จากผลการทดลองทางคลีนิค โดยนำเอาครีมที่มีความเข้มข้น 50% และ 20% มาทดสอบกับเหาบนศีรษะของคน พบว่า ความเข้มข้นของครีมที่ออกฤทธิ์ฆ่าเหาได้ดีและเหมาะสมที่สุดคือ ครีมชนิด 20% ซึ่งให้ผลฆ่าเหาได้ถึง 93% ภายในเวลา 3 ชั่วโมง อีกทั้งครีมชนิดนี้ยังมีความคงตัวมากกว่าครีมจากสารสกัด 50% จากการทดลองยังพบว่า ครีมสารสกัดจากเมล็ดน้อยหน่า ทำให้เกิดความระคายเคืองน้อยกว่ายาฆ่าเหาที่มีขายในท้องตลาดบางชนิดอีกด้วย |
| abstract: The objective of the present study was to find the optimal concentration of the petroleum ether extract of the custard apple seed (Annona squamosa Linn. ) in a cream form as an insecticide against head lice ( Pediculus humanus capitis ) The results of the study with head lice by skin test using pig’s skin showed that a cream of 50% petroleum ether extract could kill head lice within 32 minutes, a 30% cream within 49 minutes and 20% cream within 62 minutes. Therefore, 20% and 50% creams were tested clinically with living head lice in human. The results showed that the optimal concentration was 20 % cream which could kill 93 percent of the head lice within 3 hours. The stability of a 20% cream was better than a 50% cream. Irritation caused by Custard apple creams were also less than some other anti-headlice products available in the market |
