| บทคัดย่อ: ว่านหางจะเข้ (Aloe vera Linn.) เป็นสมุนไพรในวงศ์ Aloaceae ที่มีการใช้อย่างแพร่หลายทั้งทางยาในการรักษาแผลไฟไหม้ น้ำร้อนลวก และเครื่องสำอาง วุ้นจากใบของว่านหางจระเข้มีสรรพคุณในการให้ความชุ่มชื้นแก่ผิวหนัง ลดการอักเสบ ช่วยให้แผลหายเร็วและฆ่าเชื้อแบคทีเรียได้ ส่วนใบบัวบก (Centella asiatica (Linn.) Urban) เป็นสมุนไพรในวงศ์ Umbelliferae มีสรรพคุณในการเร่งการสมานแผล ลดการอักเสบ และยับยั้งเชื้อแบคทีเรีย โครงการพิเศษนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะพัฒนาว่านหางจระเข้และบัวบกเป็นตำรับครีมสมุนไพรสำหรับส้นเท้าแตกที่มีคุณภาพ ประสิทธิภาพ และเป็นที่พึงพอใจของผู้ใช้ โดยการเตรียมสารสกัดสมุนไพรดังกล่าว เปรียบเทียบสารสกัดบัวบกกับสารสกัดมาตรฐานโดยวิธี thin-layer chromatography พัฒนาตำรับโดยผสมสารสกัดสมุนไพรลงในยาพื้น 4 ตำรับที่มีอัตราส่วนของส่วนประกอบในตำรับแตกต่างกัน ศึกษาความคงตัวของครีมสมุนไพรแต่ละสูตรตำรับที่อุณหภูมิห้องและสภาวะเร่ง (4 องศาเซลเซียส และ 45 องศาเซลเซียส) เป็นเวลา 24 วัน จากนั้นทำการประเมินคุณสมบัติทางกายภาพของครีมทั้ง 4 สูตรตำรับเพื่อคัดเลือกสูตรตำรับที่ดีที่สุด ซึ่งผลการศุกษาพบว่าครีมสูตรตำรับที่ 1 มีคุณสมบัติที่ดีที่สุด จากนั้นนำครีมสูตรตำรับที่ 1 มาวัดค่าความหนืด ทดสอบเชื้อจุลินทรีย์ในผลิตภัณฑ์ ทดสอบความพึงพอใจของอาสาสมัครต่อผลิตภัณฑ์จำนวน 20 คน โดยให้อาสาสมัครประเมินจากลักษณะทางกายภาพของผลิตภัณฑ์ ได้แก่ สี กลิ่น ความเป็นเนื้อเดียวกัน ความเหนอะหนะ การกระจายตัวที่ผิว การซึมซาบสู่ผิว และความพึงพอใจโดยรวม ผลการประเมินพบว่าผู้ใช้มีความพึงพอใจโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับพอใจเท่ากับ 80% และพึงพอใจด้านการกระจายตัวที่ผิวและการซึมซาบสู่ผิวในระดับพอใจเท่ากับ 70% รวมถึงมีการประเมินประสิทธิภาพของครีมจากรูปถ่ายก่อนและหลังใช้ครีม ผลปรากฎว่าผู้ใช้ครีมในการรักษาส้นเท้าแตกมีความเนียนนุ่มของเท้าดีขึ้นทุกคน |
| abstract: Aloe vera Linn. which belongs to the family Aloeaceae is a popular herb both as an ingredient in burn medication and in cosmetics. Its leaf gel has been claimed to have a moisturizing effect as well as anti-inflammatory, wound healing and antibacterial activities. Centella asiatica (Linn.), a member of the family Umbelliferae, has been claimed to accelerate wound healing and to have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activities. This special project aimed to develop a herbal cream for cracked heels containing Aloe vera Linn. and Centella asiatica (Linn.) that had good quality, efficacy and satisfaction for users. The extracts from Aloe vera Linn. and Centella asiatica (Linn.) were prepared and the extracts compared with the standards reference on thin - layer chromatogram and then the herbal extracts were added to the cream base in varying proportions. The four cream formulae were tested for stability by keeping them at room temperature, 4 and 45 °C for 24 days. By studying the physical properties of four cream formulae, a suitable cream was selected. The result showed that formula no.1 was the most suitable. The cream was then evaluated for its viscosity and microbial status. Preference test was carried out in 20 volunteers by evaluation of physical properties such as color, odor, homogeneousness, stickiness, skin dispersion, skin penetration and total satisfaction. The results showed that 80% of the volunteers were satisfied with the skin dispersion and 70% were satisfied with the skin penetration effects. Moreover, all volunteers had an improved condition of cracked heels evaluated from before and after photographs. |
