| บทคัดย่อ: ไคตินและไคโตแซนจัดเป็นโพลิเมอร์ทางธรรมชาติที่มีมาก ซึ่งได้จากเปลือกกุ้งและปูในอดีตสิ่งเหล่านี้เป็นเพียงสิ่งไร้ประโยชน์ แต่ในปัจจุบันได้มีการทำการค้นคว้าวิจัยเพื่อนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ทางธุรกิจ รวมทั้งเพื่อศึกษาพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทุกวันนี้ไคตินและไคโตแซนได้รับการพัฒนาเป็นส่วนประกอบในผลิตภัณฑ์ทั้งทางการแพทย์และเครื่องสำอางเป็นจำนวนมาก เช่น การเป็นสารต้านโคลเรสเตอรอล, การทำแผล, การต้านฤทธิ์แบคทีเรีย, การย่อยสลายน้ำเสีย นอกจากนี้คณะเภสัชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ได้ใช้ไคโตแซนสำหรับเป็นสารก่อเจล สำหรับการทดลองนี้จะได้นำสารดังกล่าวมาใช้เพื่อเป็นสารก่อเจลและเป็นสารต้านแบคทีเรีย โดยเตรียมเป็นสารละลายใส ซึ่งเมื่อเติมสารปรุงแต่งอื่นๆ ลงไป ตามสูตรตำรับที่กำหนดจะได้ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เหมาะสมสำหรับทำเครื่องสำอาง ประเภทระงับกลิ่นตัวแบบ roll-on เนื่องจากสมบัติของสารก่อเจลจากไคโตแซน จะให้ผลของความรู้สึกสัมผัสและความยืดหยุ่นต่อผิวหนังที่ดีในการทดลองพัฒนาตำรับ พบว่าผงไคโตแซนต้องใช้กรดอินทรีย์เจือจางเป็นตัวทำละลาย ซึ่งทำให้ตำรับมี pH ประมาณ 4-5 ซึ่งพบว่าเป็น pH ที่ใกล้เคียงกับผลิตภัณฑ์ประเภทเดียวกันกับที่มีจำหน่ายทั่วไป เมื่อนำมาทดสอบคุณสมบัติในการฆ่าเชื้อของไคโตแซนเจล พบว่าผลในการเป็นสารต้านแบคทีเรียชัดเจนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ซึ่งสามารถพิสูจน์ได้โดยผลจากการลดลงของเชื้อแบคทีเรียใต้วงแขน ซึ่งได้จากการใช้สารเคมีบนแผ่นตรวจเชื้อสำเร็จรูป นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการทดลองซึ่งแตกต่างในด้านรูปแบบของยา คือ รูปผงแป้ง กับรูปแบบเจล พบว่าไม่มีผลในการลดปริมาณเชื้อแบคทีเรีย ทั้งนี้อาจเนื่องมาจากผงแป้งไคโตแซนไม่ติดบริเวณที่ทา เหมือนกับการทาสารละลายไคโตแซน สำหรับรูปแบบยาชนิดนี้จึงไม่เหมาะจะใช้เป็นสารต้านแบคทีเรีย การพัฒนา chitosan deodorant นี้จัดเป็นการทดลองประโยชน์บางส่วนของไคโตแซนเท่านั้น ดังนั้นจึงควรจะนำประโยชน์ในแง่อื่นๆ ของไคโตแซนมาพัฒนาต่อเนื่องไปในอนาคต |
| abstract: Chitin and chitosan are the abundant natural polymer from the Crustaceans (crab, shrimp) shell. In previous time both of them are the unuseful things. But now the research institution try to research more for using the commercial application and extended development. Nowadays chitin and chitosan have developed to be the components in medica and cosmetic products. For example, using chitosan for anticholestorol, wound dressing, antibacterial agent, treatment of waste water Besides that, Pharmacy faculty of Mahidol University in Thailand used the chitosan as a gel former. For this experiment which take the chitosan being the gel former with antibacterial agent by firstly prepared the cleared solution and when add the additive substance followed by the master formula, that led to the available roll-on deodorant preparation because of chitosan gel solution which have the good tactility including the flexible property. For a procedure of this experiment, chitosan powder have to used the diluted organic acid to be the solvent and the result of them are acid condition which make the pH between 4-5 that as like as the general deodorant. In addition to the experiment, the biological test’s result of chitosan are significant for the antibacterial agent which proved by decreasing the normal flora from the armpits that apply them on the kits. Besides that, there is an experiment that differ in the dosage form, Powder, which compared with the gel form, the result is no antibacterial property, Maybe because of the chitosan powder can not attach with the area where apply the powder other than the chitosan gel solution oppositely so that means powder dosage form is not good to be the antibacterial preparation. For the development of the chitosan gel deodorant is a part of the experiment from the many useful chitosan so that should continue the research on the applied aspect of the polymer more in the future. |
