| บทคัดย่อ: การศึกษาฤทธิ์ในการฆ่าเห็บของสมุนไพร 3 ชนิดคือ รากหางไหลแดง (Derris elliptica (Roxb.) Benth.) เมล็ดน้อยหน่า (Annona squamosa L.) เปลือกส้มเขียวหวาน (Citrus reticulata Blanco) ด้วยวิธีการสกัดที่แตกต่างกันดังนี้ รากหางไหลแดงสกัดด้วยอาซีโตน เมล็ด น้อยหน่าสกัดด้วยปิโตรเลียมอีเทอร์ เปลือกส้มเขียวหวานกลั่นแยกน้ำมันหอมระเหยด้วยวิธีกลั่น ด้วยไอน้ำ เมื่อนำสารสกัดสมุนไพรทั้ง 3 ชนิดมาทดสอบฤทธิ์ในการฆ่าเห็บในจานทดลอง พบว่า สารสกัดทั้ง 3 ชนิดสามารถฆ่าเห็บตัวผู้ได้ภายใน 4 ชั่วโมง โดยสารสกัดเมล็ดน้อยหน่ามีฤทธิ์ใน การฆ่าเห็บตัวเล็กขนาด 4-5 มิลลิเมตรดีที่สุด (ใช้เวลา 1 ชั่วโมง 30 นาที) จึงคัดเลือกสารสกัด 2 ชนิดที่ให้ประสิทธิภาพที่ดี มาละลายใน Tween 60 และนำมาทดสอบฤทธิ์ในจานทดลอง พบว่า สารสกัดเมล็ดน้อยหน่าที่ความเข้มข้น 10% มีประสิทธิภาพในการฆ่าเห็บดีที่สุด |
| abstract: The study on efficacy of three herbal extracts against adult brown dog ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus) was carried out. The selected herbs were Derris elliptica (Roxb.) Benth. root, Annona squamosa L. seed and Citrus reticulata Blanco peel. Derris root and Annona squamosa seed were extracted using acetone and petroleum ether, respectively. Whereas the volatile oil from Citrus peel was isolated by steam distillation. Two extracts and the volatile oil from citrus peel were tested for their acaricidal activities on the brown dog ticks. It was found that all extracts had the activity against small size ticks with diameter 4-5 mm. and the Annona squamosa seed extract showed the highest activity. Two extracts which had the best efficacy were selected to prepare preparations using Tween 60 solubilizing agent. The formulation containing 10% Annona squamosa seed extract had the highest efficacy against small size ticks |
