ผู้ชายที่ทาน acnotin A อยู่ ถ้าอยากมีบุตร ต้องหยุด ยานานเท่าไหร่ครับ
คำตอบ
Acnotin A หรือ isotretinoin เป็นยาสำหรับรักษาสิวที่มีอาการรุนแรง โดยออกฤทธิ์กดการทำงานของต่อมไขมัน ทำให้ผลิตสารที่เป็นไขมัน (sebum) ลดลง ลดปริมาณเชื้อแบคทีเรีย Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) ลดการอักเสบของสิว และยับยั้งการสร้างคอมีโดน (comedone) โดยผลข้างเคียงและข้อห้ามใช้ที่สำคัญของยา isotretinoin คือ ยามีผลทำให้เด็กทารกในครรภ์พิการแต่กำเนิด ดังนั้นในเพศหญิง ผู้ที่ได้รับยา isotretinoin จะต้องคุมกำเนิดก่อนรับประทานยาอย่างน้อย 3 เดือน และคุมกำเนิดตลอดระยะเวลาที่ใช้ยาตัวนี้ในการรักษา และต้องหยุดยาล่วงหน้าอย่างน้อย 3 เดือน ถึง 1 ปี ก่อน จึงจะตั้งครรภ์ได้อย่างปลอดภัย ในส่วนของเพศชาย จากการสืบค้นข้อมูล ไม่พบรายงานเกี่ยวกับการสะสมยา isotretinoin ในอสุจิ แต่มีข้อมูลว่าเพศชายสามารถใช้ isotretinoin ได้โดยไม่ส่งผลเสียต่ออสุจิ อีกทั้งมีการศึกษาในมนุษย์พบว่าการใช้ isotretinoin ไม่มีผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงระดับฮอร์โมน testosterone แล้วยังเพิ่มจำนวนอสุจิอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ
