| บทคัดย่อ: พริกขี้หนู (Capsicum frutescens Linn.) มีสารที่ให้รสเผ็ด คือ capsaicinoids ซึ่งมีฤทธิ์ทางเภสัชวิทยาสามารถบรรเทา อาการปวดหลัง ขา เอว และตามข้อต่างๆได้ โครงการพิเศษนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาตำรับ capsaicinoids cream และ gel จากสารสกัดของพริกขี้หนูโดยเตรียม cream base และ gel base ขึ้นมาอย่างละ 4 ตำรับ ทำการคัดเลือกมาอย่างละ 2 ตำรับ หาปริมาณ capsaicinoids ใน chloroform extract และ alcohol extract แล้วจึงเตรียม 0.075% และ 0.15% capsaicinoids cream และ capsaicinoids gel หลังจากนั้นทำการประเมินผลยาเตรียมที่ได้ เช่น ความคงตัวทางกายภาพ ทางเคมี และทดสอบการยอมรับของผู้ใช้ ผลการทดลอง พบว่า capsaicinoids ไม่เหมาะที่จะนำมาทำ gel เนื่องจากยาเตรียมที่ได้มีลักษณะทางกายภาพไม่ดี ส่วน capsaicinoids cream ที่เตรียมได้นั้น หลังจากผ่านการประเมินทุกขั้นตอนแล้ว พบว่า ตำรับที่ดีที่สุด คือ ตำรับที่มีความแรง 0.15% ทำจาก alcohol extract ซึ่งมีส่วนประกอบ คือ cremophore A25 1.50 %, cremophore A6 1.50%, stearic acid 4.00%, glyceryl monostearate 4.00% , silicone oil 350 0.50%, mineral oil 5.00%, propylene glycol 30.00%, methyl paraben 0.20%, propyl paraben 0.10%, sodium EDTA 0.01%, alcohol extract 2.25%, purified water 50.94% ผลการทดลองนี้อาจเป็นการนำร่องในการเตรียมยาครีมจากพริกขี้หนูเพื่อใช้เป็นยารักษาโรคต่อไป |
| abstract: Phrik Kheenuu (Capsicum frutescens Linn.) has an active substance which tastes sharp called capsaicin. The pharmacological action of topical capsaicin was reported that it can relieve the pain of back, legs, waist and joints. The objectives of this study is to develop capsaicinoids cream and capsaicinoids gel formulated from the Phrik Kheenuu’s extract. Prepare 4 formulae of each, cream base and gel base. Their physical properties such as smell, color, softness were tasted. Select the best two preparations of each base-type ; prepare 0.075 and 0.15% capsaicinoids cream and capsaicinoids gel. The chloroform and alcohol extracts of capsaicinoids were obtained from the other experiment, and the capsaicinoids content was determined. The result showed that capsaicinoids was not suitable to make gel preparation because of the physical instability of the capsaicinoids gel. For capsaicinoids cream, it was found that the best formula was capsaicinoids cream made from 0.15 % alcohol extract. The ingredients of this formula are cremophore A25 1.50 % , cremophore A6 1.50 % , stearic acid 4.00 % , glyceryl monostearate 4.00 % , silicone oil 350 0.50 % , mineral oil 5.00 % , propylene glycol 30.00 % , methyl paraben 0.20 % , propyl paraben 0.10 % , sodium EDTA 0.01 % , alcohol extract 2.25 % and purified water 50.94 %. In summary this study will be the pilot project leading to produce capsaicinoids cream from Phrik Kheenuu for the clinical use in the future. |
