| บทคัดย่อ: การพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ชนิดฉีดพ่นในปากจากพริกเพื่อแก้ง่วง ซึ่งนำมาใช้แทนสารกระตุ้นแก้ง่วงที่เป็นอันตราย พริกที่เลือกใช้คือพริกเหลือง(Capsicum annuum Linn. var. acuminatum Fingarh) ผลิตภัณฑ์ประกอบด้วยสารสกัดเข้มข้นของพริกใน 95% ethyl alcohol ในปริมาณ ร้อยละ 12 โดยปริมาตร โดยมีปริมาณสารสำคัญคือ capsaicin คิดเป็นร้อยละ 0.01 ส่วนประกอบอื่นๆได้แก่ Polyoxyethylene 40 hydrogenated castor oil, กรดซิตริก, Acesulfame-K, โซเดียมคลอไรด์ , เจลาติน, โซเดียม เบนโซเอต, เมนทอล และสารแต่งกลิ่นพรุน ได้ผลิตภัณฑ์เป็นสารละลายใสสีเหลืองออกน้ำตาล ทำการประเมินผลิตภัณฑ์แก้ง่วงในอาสาสมัครชาย-หญิงคณะเภสัชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล จำนวน 30 คน แปลผลทางสถิติโดยวิธี Analysis of Variance พบว่าการฉีดพ่นผลิตภัณฑ์เข้าทางปากทำให้ค่าความดัน systolic, diastolic, อัตราการเต้นของหัวใจ และค่าความดันเฉลี่ยเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (P<0.05 ) เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับค่าปกติ และนอกจากนี้ค่าความดัน systolic, diastolic, อัตราการเต้นของหัวใจ และค่าความดันเฉลี่ยเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (P<0.05 )เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับการใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์ชนิดฉีดพ่นในปากที่ไม่มีสารสกัดจากพริก(control) สำหรับการประเมินโดย Home Use Test ในอาสาสมัครจำนวน 50 คน โดยแบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือกลุ่มคนที่อ่านหนังสือและกลุ่มคนที่ทำงาน พบว่าในกลุ่มคนที่อ่านหนังสือมีระยะเวลาที่เริ่มรู้สึกตื่นตัวหายง่วงเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 0.36 นาทีและระยะเวลาที่คงความรู้สึกตื่นตัวหายง่วงหลังจากฉีดผลิตภัณฑ์พริกเหลืองเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 10.18 นาที ส่วนในกลุ่มคนที่ทำงานมีระยะเวลาที่เริ่มรู้สึกตื่นตัวหายง่วงเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 0.36 นาที และระยะเวลาที่คงความรู้สึกตื่นตัวหายง่วงหลังจากฉีดผลิตภัณฑ์พริกเหลืองเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 13.21นาที |
| abstract: A wake-up oral spray from a yellow capsicum fruit, Phrik Leung (Capsicum annuum Linn. var. acuminatum Fingarh) (PL), was developed as a safer alternative stimulating products. The formula consisted of the concentrated form of 95% ethyl alcohol extract of PL, at 12% v/v. The final capsaicin concentration in the product was 0.01% w/v. Other ingredients were Polyoxyethylene 40 hydrogenated castor oil, citric acid, Acesulfame-K, sodium chloride, gelatin, sodium benzoate, menthol and prune flavor. The capsicum spray , a clear brownish yellow solution, was evaluated among 30 male and female pharmacy student volunteers. The result was analysed using Analysis of Variance. The capsicum spray caused significant increase (P<0.05 ) in systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate and mean arterial pressure immediately after administration compared to the normal state. When the capsicum spray was compared to the control formula, all of the parameters, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate and mean arterial pressure were significantly increased (P<0.05 ). In Home Use Test, the capsicum spray was distributed among 50 people, divided into 2 groups. Group 1 consisted of people who read (students) while Group 2 were working people. The results showed that in Group 1, the average onset of alertness was 0.36 minute and the average duration of alertness was 10.18 minutes. While in Group 2 the average onset of alertness was 0.36 minute and the average duration of alertness was 13.21 minutes. |
