| บทคัดย่อ: แทนนิน เป็นสารจำพวก polyphenol สามารถพบได้ทั้วไปในพืชเกือบทุกชนิด แบ่งได้เป็น 3กลุ่ม คือ hydrolyzable tannins,condendensed tannins และ phlobatannins แทนนินได้ถูกนำมาใช้ประโยชน์หลายด้าน เช่น อุตสาหกรรมฟอกฟนัง ทางการแพทย์แผนไทยเป็นยาฝาดสมานในด้ายเครื่องสำอางทำสบู่ และ น้ำยาบ้วนปาก พบว่าอุตสาหกรรมเหล่านี้ยังไม่มีการพัฒนาวิธีวิเคราะห์หาปริมาณแทนนินซึ่งเป็ฯอุปสรรคที่สำคัญในการพัฒนาคุณภาพมาตรฐานการศึกษานี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาวิธีวิเคราห็ปริมาณแทนนินในสมุนไพรที่สะดวก และ เหมาะสมสำหรับใช้ในโรงพยาบาลหรืออุตสาหกรรมขนาดเล็ก จากการทบทวนวรรณกรรม พบว่าการหาปรืมาณแทนนินมีอยู่หลายวิธี วิธีที่คะดเลือกสำหรับการทดลองครั้งนี้คือ acid-butanol assay สำหรับ proanthocyanidins,prussian blue assay สำหรับจำนวน phenol ทั้งหมด,TLCและ radial diffusion assayสำหรับ tannins โดยใช้เปลือกมังคุดเป็ฯสมุนไพรตัวอย่าง ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การวิเคราะห็แบบ radial diffusion assay สำหรับ tannins ซึ่งเป็ฯการใช้คุณสมบัติในการตกตะกอนโปรตีนของแทนนิน ช้คุณสมบัติหลักที่นิยมใช้ในผลิตภัณฑ์ที่มีแทนนินเป็นส่วนประกอบ และเป็นวิธีที่ไย่งยาก จึงน่าจะเป็นวิธีที่ดีวิธีหนึ่งในการใช้วิเคราะห็หาปริมาณแทนนินในสมุนไพร อย่างไรก็ตาม ควรจะมีการศึกษาต่อไปถึงปัจจัยที่อาจีผลต่อการวิเคราะห็ด้วย เช่น ชนิดโปรตีนที่ใช้ในการตกตะกอน อุณหภูมิ หรือ ระยรเงลาในการทดลอง เพื่อให้ได้วิธีที่สะดวกและง่ายในการนำไปใช้ต่อไป |
| abstract: Tanin,polyphenolic compounds which found in many plants,has been classified to 3 groups: hydrolyzable tanins,condensed tannins,condensed tannins and phlorotannins.It is widely used in many fields,for example;leather industry,in alternative medicine as astringent,cismetics such as soaps and gargles.However,there is no appropiate method to analyse total tannins. this lead to obstacles in the standard improvenment of products in industry.This study was aimed to develop amethod that is convenient touse in hospital or small and household industries. thre are several analysis methods for tannin, some of them are selected for this experiment such as acid_butanol assay for proanthocyanidins, prussian are selectd this experiment such as acid-butanol assay for pro anthocyanidins,prussian blue assay for total phenol,TLC and radial diffusion assay for tannins. Mangosteen pericarp was selected as a representative of tannin sample. The priciple of radial diffusion assay is the ability of tannin toprecipitate BSA,a kind of protein, in media. This method is simple and may be one of the suitable methods to analyse tannin in medicinal plants. However,further study about factors affecting to the resulit of analysis such as type of protein used ,temperature and duration of time in the experiment should be conducted |
