ยาชื่อทางการค้า Hema-Plus มีตัวยาสำคัญ คือ epoetin alfa มีข้อบ่งใช้สำหรับรักษาภาวะโลหิตจางชนิดที่เกิดจากภาวะไตวายเรื้อรัง และภาวะโลหิตจางจากยาบางชนิด (เช่น ยาเคมีบำบัด ยาต้านไวรัสเอชไอวี เป็นต้น) สำหรับกรณีที่ลืมฉีดยา ให้ใช้ยาทันทีเมื่อนึกขึ้นได้ และใช้ยาในครั้งถัดไปตามปกติ ดังนั้น หากใช้ยาทุกวันพุธ แต่สัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมาใช้ยาวันศุกร์ ในสัปดาห์ต่อไปสามารถใช้ยาวันพุธได้ตามเดิมโดยไม่ต้องเพิ่มขนาดยา
